Harry Potter is the series I will never outgrow. Its magical wisdom has guided me throughout my childhood, and later teenage years. It's even given me a bunch of insight as an adult. It ages well, and despite the frankly obvious plotholes, it will forever remain my favorite fantasy novel. The movies were surprisingly good, and I remember just how much I anticipated every new release. My dad would take me to the theatres, where, if my memory doesn't fail me, we would buy tickets for five dollars if not less.

I would be absolutely entranced by what I saw on the big screen. I developed a little crush that eventually faded after realizing that Daniel Radcliffe lived literal seas away from me. The world of Harry Potter is enchanting, and it isn't hard to see why so many people love it. There isn't a character out of place. Everyone had a certain charm, except, of course, Umbridge. That lady can go you know where.
